The Devil would be very disappointed with Sheets Resume! This is the first resume creation software that did not start out OK/good and then deteriorate quickly causing more problems than it solves. I love how receptive the team is to suggestions and small problems. Everything just works. It's really sad to say that with today's tools that simply saying this works is an amazing accomplishment. It is what it is! I couldn't be happier with what was built with Sheets Resume. I'm able to apply to more jobs without banging my head against the wall and double thinking everything I'm doing with every application. Thanks for taking time to catch bugs and always improving the product. If anyone can solve the broken hiring process, it is you!

Buying this Resume Builder was the best decision of my life. I was able to create a resume within seconds using the "tailor" option. You simply have to copy the job description and paste it, and the AI will then automatically update and modify the resume based on the job itself. Same thing for cover letters. I can't tell you how many resume builders I tried, and all of them make you manually do everything, which takes hours and is frankly a waste of time. It's a convenient, easy-to-use resume that will land you the perfect job you were dreaming about.

The best part is that you can buy it for a one-time purchase, and you can use it forever. No more signing up for a monthly subscription on other websites. I would recommend purchasing this and sharing it with your friends.

My ADHD makes it extremely hard to focus on things, especially under stress, so sometimes I have to find workarounds to get things done, but I've been on a time crunch and going through some hard times and I have NEVER been great with resumes. Sheets Resume is a God send, it's helped e build a resume I can be proud of, when for the longest I didn't know where to begin. It's such a relief to feel confident about applying, and knowing this will open many doors. It was so easy and intuitive to use, especially with the A.I prompts for better job descriptions, responsibilities and the like. It really opened up my mind to new possibilities and helped me work through my block. For the first time ever on a resume, I feel confident that I've displayed my strengths, thank you Colin!

This tool is so helpful, it actually makes the most boring thing on Earth (preparing CVs) a bit fun with its step-by-step guide. Wish I’d known about it a few days ago before sending my dream job application with that ugly ass CV.

So glad you had fun building your resume with our tools! That's incredibly high praise, as not even I would call the act of making a resume "fun" lol.

And some good news: if they don't get back to you within, say, 2 weeks, you can re-apply to your dream job with your new "Sheets" CV. They won't automatically reject you or anything just because you applied before, and you'll be shocked by how many jobs will make a different decision for the same person with a different resume.

I began my job search at the start of 2025 and was lucky to be referred to Sheets Resume early in the process. I’m happy to share that I’ve accepted a job offer and will soon be starting a role I’m genuinely excited about.

The resume tool was incredibly helpful in updating my materials after more than 10 years since my last application. But for me, the standout feature was the cover letter tool — it saved me so much time. I loved how easy it was to adjust the tone and length depending on the role I was applying for. Migrating to a new country and trying to look for a job has been really challenging, to say the least. And when I started looking at the template, paying, etc. I was very skeptical, but honestly, this template has been great! As soon as I started using this template, I started getting interviews, and in one case, they contacted me a day after I had sent the CV (this had never happened before).

I´m taking the time to write the review because it helped me, and although it can seem like spending money, at least in my case, it was worth it. Hopefully, I will get an offer that I´m excited about soon, but in the meantime, at least I know that my CV is getting enough attention to get me at least an interview, and that´s the first step.

My family and I invested so much time and money in my education. I was fortunate enough to get a job, but when I started searching for new opportunities, I kept using the same outdated resume I had created back in college. I’d get maybe one or two interviews, but nothing significant—even with two degrees, over 10 certifications, and countless completed courses under my belt.

The free resume template is very easy to follow through and edit and the AI helper utilities offered in the paid version are super-easy to use, actually provide value, and offer help with both the bigger picture and the smaller details.

But I can say the tool is very intuitive, and there are many useful resources available at your disposal.

While I feel they should include a short term plan (like 1 year or 1 month plan), having a lifetime option is a refreshing welcome in a world of subscription services.

I have probably been involved with many AI tools over the years and in last couple of years a lot more for Resume AI Builders. Most just use different skin over the same functionality. Before Sheets Resume AI Builder was here, I used the Google Doc template Colin provided in his now famous reddit post.

I can easily say, this tool is less AI and more human + AI. It has its flaws but what it does best is give you an output you can be proud and confident of using to apply for that 100th application :)
